Condolences

My condolences on the passing of Norm, he was a true gentleman. I will hold him in my prayers
posted by Dan Ritchie : I met Norm in the winter of 1976 in Vancouver. As a recruit CN Police Officer my recruit training instructor was Norm. While I did not work often with him, I did have many occasions to speak with him and once worked with him for a week on a major intermodal derailment in the town of Valemount, BC in 1979. Without a doubt the worst commodity derailment I ever worked and the most challenging, Norm provided excellent leadership to the team during that event. He truly was a gentleman, always spoke lovingly of his family and square dancing. I will forever hold him in my prayers. Dan Ritchie - Inspector Vancouver : Apr 12, 2016
