Condolences
I just learned of the passing of Nell and wanted to extend my most heartfelt condolences to the entire family. I worked with Nell at H&R Block in Edmonton when I was her district manager. Nell had a way to lighten things up at the office when we were very busy. We shared many many laughs during her time with us. She was one of our best tax professionals across the country.

Dear Family, Our hearts are so sad for you in the loss of your mother. I used to email her back and forth and we had some wonderful conversations. She always loved to talk about her family. She was quite an amazing woman especially moving so far away from the Netherlands and all those she knew. Even being far from Iowa from the siblings that immigrated must have been difficult, but I am sure there were many letters or phone calls going back and forth as time went on and then the modern email! I loved that she continued to find joy in her work, even so late in life for many. She always seemed to want to keep her brain active and sharp and was always so proud of her children and grandchildren's accomplishments and they were many!
