Condolences

I am more sorry than I can tell you to learn you have lost you father, Frank. There are so many fond memories I have of Frank. My first transfer in the Royal Bank was to Evansburg at 19 years old. I was raised on a trapline in Northern Alberta and had only attended a school in grade 11 & 12. My first year was as a ledger keeper and teller. I was very nervous, being my first transfer, until Frank and Marion met the Greyhound bus and I was invited for dinner at their home above the Royal Bank. There was Gordon and Janice and no Carol yet. Frank was a super, caring boss who was highly regarded by peers and clients. Please know that Frank was so proud of the accomplishments of his family & friends. I will miss our telephone conversations as we are now to be denied association with a compassionate and caring man.

It was our pleasure to know your Mom and Dad. I was in the banking industry for 40 years, mostly in Medicine Hat. Frank and Marion both attended the same church as we do, St Barnabas Anglican church. It was very sad to see them leave Medicine Hat and move to Edmonton and then a few years back hear of the passing of Marion. We knew Frank was not well, but kept sending him emails for some time until just recently when we were notified that he was no longer capable of reading them. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all the family and they will remain in our minds and hearts for all eternity.

My heartfelt sympathies to all of you as your mourn the loss of your dad and grandfather. I have many fond memories of Frank and Marion preparing coffee for after the service, as they truly loved to serve and care for others. Frank was a gentle, tenderhearted soul who was very supportive when I lost my father. My dad and Frank had been involved in many St. Barnabas adventures..particularly the Mayfair celebrations we used to have. I pray that your memories will be a comfort during this time. I give thanks that my life journey crossed paths with Frank.
