Condolences

Our dear Vicki: We were so sorry to hear that Ed passed away. He was truly a wonderful person. He had so many beautiful qualities, a big heart, a great sense of humor, a deep spirituality. We learned so much from you both, you were so happy together, you had a wonderful marriage and loved each other very much. You were both so warm and hospitable, you both have always had a very special place in our hearts, even though we have been away from Edmonton for so many years, we often speak of you both and the fond memories that we have of spending time with you. We look so forward to seeing Ed again. We pray that Jehovah will continue to sustain and comfort you Vicki until the time that you can welcome him back, very soon. Warmest of Love, Cathy and Bill

To our dear friends, we have such fond memories and warm thoughts about the two of you. I am sure that you, as we, are grieving. But please know you are both in our prayers. Ed is in the most secure place possible. He is in Jehovah's memory. Ed was not only a righteous man, but a good man. I came to both of you many times for advice and encouragement. I cannot begin to tell you how even the sound of Ed's voice gave me encouragement. And the final words he spoke to me was, "stay the course." We are so thankful in times as these that we worship Jehovah, the God of "tender mercies." So, while we have to say good bye, it is only for a little while, as soon the "former things will have passed away." Once again we will enjoy Ed's eyes that gave away his feelings, the laugh that lit up his face and the sheer enjoyment he felt for even the smallest detail of life. Soon we will walk the beaches again, enjoy our cup of coffee and have our dear loved one back with us. I cannot wait to feel his warm embrace again, and neither can all of our family, as he was truly a very special person in our lives.
posted by Edward Kiley : Our family really became personally acquainted when Bro. Preymack and I served as elders at the Joliet West Congregation and we remained very close thru the years after the Preymacks moved back to Canada. We felt as if we have a set of spiritual parents that we have cherished every since. : Feb 06, 2014

Dearest Vicki, This is very difficult.......You very well know that your loss is our loss and I am sure that many of the friends here are sharing in your grief at this time. Everything mentioned in the obit is true! The humility..........never making a difference, always having Christ-like qualities and personality, always approachable and helpful, never harsh nor condemning. Vicki, I remember the hospitality and generous spirit you both showed to those of us who needed it most! Your love for the ministry above all, and the friends who benefited greatly as your students. When you moved back to Joliet Cong. and then back to Canada how very much you were missed by your spiritual family here! I remember the last time I saw you and Ed at the Romeoville Assembly Hall a few yrs ago. I had a nice conversation with Bro. Preymack and he was just the same as always! Encouraging, upbuilding, happy, such a true friend. Ed will be greatly missed! .........JOB 14:13-15 and our new Kingdom Song, "He Will Call". The scripture held so much meaning and comfort for me before I ever heard the song and now this song is such an encouragement to me! I know you will continue to be strengthened in the days, weeks, even years ahead by all of these wonderful provisions from Our Grand Instructor, Jehovah! You have the love and appreciation from my family and myself as we have many good memories of Bro and Sister Preymack from the Lockport Congregation. Our Deepest and Most Heartfelt Condolences, Eva and Family
posted by Eva Herbst : In the early '70's my children and I began attending the Lockport Congregation of Jehovahs Witnesses. There we found many good friends and that is when we met Ed and Vicki. These were some of the best years with the children growing up there for the next 15 yrs or so. We all benefited greatly from such kind and loving ministers as the Preymacks were. We are blessed to have had such kind friends during these impressionable yrs of our lives. : Feb 05, 2014

Dearest Vicki We are so sad to hear about your loss. Ed will always be remembered as a very kind, gentle man with a good sense of humor. His many years of faithfulness to Jehovah and as a husband is a sterling example that will not be forgotten. He was in the best care, having you there always by his side. We look forward to John 5:28,29. It won't be long now. Sending your warm hugs and deepest sympathies, Phil, Rebecca and Gianna Conte
