Obituary

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of our Dad, William (Bill) Edward Wright, at the age of 90.

Dad enjoyed a full and rewarding career as a Chartered Accountant, and in his leisure hours, could hardly wait to get out on his deck at Pigeon Lake. He was a straight shooter and just like 'Old Blue Eyes' he did it his way to the end. With his passing, we graciously acknowledge the condolences received from executive management of the Bacardi Rum Company. In his later years Dad also enjoyed learning about the internet and using his iPad. Unfortunately, there will now be many, many Words with Friends games that will be left incomplete and unplayed.

He was predeceased by his wife Jean; sister, Charlotte; and brothers, Gordon and Jack. He will always be loved by his children: Linda (Dan), Pat (Don), Rob (Linda), Ric (Sandy), Bill (Colleen); grandchildren: Jenny, Greg (Cynthia), Jeff, Adam (Krista), Steven (Helena), Dave (Colleen), Andrew, Karla (Nathaniel), Keaton, Tyson (Nicki), Dylan, Ada and Harrison; and great grandchildren: Madelyn and Easton; as well as many loving nieces and nephews. His daughters-in-law and sons-in-law thought he was the best father-in-law ever.

At his request, there will be no service. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the War Amps of Canada, Key Tag Service, 1 Maybrook Drive, Scarborough, ON, M1V 5K9.

In Loving Memory of
William Edward Wright
