Obituary

Dennis Allan Gushuliak went home to heaven on May 4, 2016 in Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 69.

Left to cherish many wonderful memories are his wife of 43 years, Terry, and their children: Alana (Tom), Kara (Monte) and Holly; grandchildren; Daniel, Nathan, Joshua, Kristin, Ella, Tia, Lexa, Aria & Lanaya; siblings; Nelson (Jackie) and Arlene (Jim), brothers-in-law; Bob (Karen), Jim (Dorothy); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.

Dennis was born January 30th, 1947 in Winnipeg to Mary Onysko and Nicholas Gushuliak. He graduated from the University of Manitoba with B.A and B.Ed degrees, later completing a M.Ed degree from San Diego State University. Dennis loved teaching and taught primary through college.

Dennis loved travelling, live theatre, good books & movies, music, days at the cabin swimming, boating, snowmobiling, fine wine & food, and spending time with family and friends. His Christian faith shaped his life and he dedicated decades to multiple church ministries such as Cursillo, bible studies, vestry, missions, & conferences. Dennis will long be remembered for his gentle strength, faith-filled patience, unconditional love, generous smile, quick wit & constant encouragement to others.

A celebration of Dennis� life is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Saturday May 14, 2016 at St Paul�s Anglican Church, 10127-145 St. Edmonton.
