Obituary

On Saturday, March 3, 2018, Arnold "Arnie" Mottershead of Edmonton passed away at the age of 88 years.

He was born on December 20, 1929. Arnie is survived by his daughter, Barbara (Tim); sons, Brian, Glen (Brenda), Bruce and Garth (Lianne); grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Stanley (Izola); sisters-in-law, Marlene and Lucille; many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was predeceased by his wife, Jean in 2011; parents, George and Eva; sister, Kay (Art); brothers, Lloyd, Vic and George; in-laws, Jim and Elsie Ryan, Andrew and Gloria Campbell and Bill and Shirley Campbell.

Arnie was born in Beverly (Edmonton) and lived an active and vibrant life. He was heavily involved in the military. He joined at the young age of 19, moved up the ranks and retired as a Colonel. Arnie loved family activities, camping, golfing, cards and was known for lending a helping hand when needed. He will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched in many ways.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 16, 2018, at 11:00 am at Foster and McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011 - 114 Street NW, Edmonton. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Gardens.

Donations in memory of Arnie may be made to a charity of one�s choice.
