Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Ted on Saturday April 18 , 2020 at the age of 87.
Ted was predeceased by his loving wife Jennie , son Nolan , 2nd wife Annie , his parents Nanne ( Norman ) and Petronella , 2 sisters in Holland Pat ( Jacob ) Dinkela , Ann ( Oeds ) Brandsma , sister Jeanette ( Jack ) Groot , brother John , sisters in law Jenny Brandsma , Tina Brandsma , brothers in law John Bos , Peter Terlaan and 2 infant brothers.
He leaves to mourn his very special friend Gladys Batchelor , his son Gerry ( Denise ); brothers Henk , Herb ( Ruby ) , Oeds ( Henny ); sisters Tina Terlaan , Renie Bos, Nell Brandsma and many nieces , nephews and friends.
Ted had a passion for life and gardening. He lived his life as a farmer and worked hard for his family. Ted came to Canada in 1950 seeking immigration. He was the first in the family to come and scouted out farm land in Ardrossan. His parents and siblings were soon to follow and started a new life as Canadians. He served his church, his family and his Lord with unwavering faith even during the darkest of times.
