Obituary
Lois passed away peacefully on October 13, 2020 surrounded by her family. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Lorna (Doug) Cheney; son Ken (Cathy); granddaughters Sarah (Brady), Alexandra, Jessica (Jesse), Amanda, and Melanie; and her family and friends.
Lois was predeceased by her husband, John, in 2001 and her parents Lula (1997) and Earl (1967) Packard as well as other loved extended family and friends.
In keeping with her wishes, Lois will be buried with her husband during a private family service officiated by Reverend Stephen Sparks at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Edmonton.
The family thanks Dr. C. Altmeyer and the staff of the Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital for their compassionate end of life care and is ever grateful for the daily attention Lois received in her six year stay at Rosedale at Griesbach/Chartwell Griesbach, Edmonton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Alzheimer's Society and The Heart and Stroke Foundation.
