Obituary

Remember him with a smile today

He was not one for tears

Of all the happy years

Recall to mind the way he spoke

Did you hear the one about......

His strength, his advice, his red polka dot hat

Remember these instead

Ron passed away peacefully after a challenging battle with cancer.

He sadly leaves behind a family in a deep sorrow: his wife of 66 years, Larain; four children: Karen, Jacqueline, John and Barbara; five grandchildren: Jesse, Jason, Jocelynn, Danielle and Jordan and 2 great grandchildren: Gabriella and Adaline.

Ron was an exceptional husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and faithful friend to many.

He enjoyed gardening and quading at his ranch, the finest scotch, auction sailing, buying & selling, traveling, telling jokes for an audience, volunteering for the Cross Cancer Institute, volunteering at Norwood SChool and attending Norwood Masonic Lodge.

Ron had a long and enjoyable history of employment with the grocery business, London Life, Canada Pension, and New Horizons.

You may wish to make a donation to the Cross Cancer Institute in memory of Ron.

No public funeral will take place due to Covid-19.

In Loving Memory of
Ronald James Williams
