Obituary
Blessed with a life of 79 years, passed on to be with our Lord on December 29. He leaves to mourn his loving wife of 55 years, Johanna; four children, Paul Pietersma (Stacey Mah), Arlene (Tony) Frischknet, Joanne (Ed) Brun, Perry (Fiona) Pietersma and special daughter-in-law Wanda Pietersma. Opa will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Kelly (Danny) Rogers, Taylor and Rylan Pietersma, Kyle and Courtney Frischknet, Ashton and Keaton Pietersma, and Graeme and Alicia Brun. Opa will also be remembered by his two great-grandchildren, Avery and Devyn Rogers. He leaves behind two brothers, five sisters and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Arie was predeceased by one sister, Thea Norder, one brother, Dick Pietersma and one great-granddaughter, Dyllan Rogers. At Arie�s request, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Foster and McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011 � 114 Street, Edmonton.
