Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Silas �Si� Frisk three days short of his 92nd birthday. He died peacefully surrounded by his family and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He was predeceased by his loving wife Enid in 1995. He was a wonderful father to Gary, Margaret �Peg� Burns (Gary) and Joan Brown (Steven) and adored by his grandchildren, Michele (Ben), Kathy (Steven), David, Debbie, Susan and Kevin as well as six great-grandchildren. He will also be greatly missed by his brother Eddie and family, special friend Ralfina Sinclair and brother-in-law Ken Griffith (Delores) as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. A celebration of Dad�s life will be held at Foster and McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011 � 114 St., Edmonton on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. The family extends a heartfelt thank-you to his family physician Dr. Colleen Friesen for the amazing care she provided over the past seventeen years. We would also like to thank Dr. Peter Brindley and the staff in the Emergency Department at the U of A Hospital for their kindness, support and compassion during Dad�s last few days.
