Obituary

Marion May Martin passed away with family by her side after several years of living with Alzheimers disease.

Marion is survived by her children Wendy Wandio (Bill), Linda Boisvert (Don), Laura Chance (Mike), and Patrick Martin (Melinda Lane); nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one sister, Eunice Martin; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Allan Cameron Martin in 2009; by her brothers Albert Abraham, Lawrence Abram (Jessie), and Gordon Abram (Lillian); and by her sisters Jean Gaetz (Lou), Edna Nowicki (Joe), and Beatrice Petryshyn (Mike).

Marion will be lovingly remembered for her dedication to family and friends, her enjoyment of walking, fishing and playing games, and her exemplary work ethic. She led a full and happy life until her mind and body were diminished by illness.

Sincere thanks and our deepest appreciation to the Staff at Strathcona Care Centre for the professional, gentle, and loving care they provided over the past three years, and to the staff at Laurier House Strathcona in the years before that. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Strathcona Care Centre or to the Alzheimers Society of Alberta and Northwest Territories, Research Division

In Loving Memory of
Marion Martin
(Maiden: Abraham)
