Obituary
On March 1, 2012, Richard Nesby passed away at the age of 61 years. He is survived by his sons, Jeff Nesby of Sherwood Park, and Erik Olson of Drumheller; his daughter, Czabrina Wallace of Sherwood Park; his brother, Doug Nesby (Janie) of Sherwood Park; sister Sheryl Simpson (Will) of Edmonton; grandchildren, Braiden and Jaime; nephews, Colin and Chris Simpson and Steven and Scott Nesby; also missed by Janet Nesby and Michelle Olson. Richard was born in Edmonton. During his long career with Alberta Forest Service, he played a key role in the Alberta Vegetation Inventory and forest classification system. He had a love of adventure and traveled widely. He was an avid naturalist and bird enthusiast. Be at peace Richard. The family would like to thank the Sherwood Park Fire Department, EMS, staff at the University of Alberta Hospital Burn Unit and pastoral care for their efforts and compassion. A Memorial Service will be held at Foster and McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011 114 Street, Edmonton, AB on Saturday March 10, 2012 at 3:30 pm.
