Obituary
Jean, beloved wife of Brian passed away on May 30, 2013.
She was one of four children born to Angus and Amelia Reid in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
Jean spent all of her growing up years and early adulthood in Saskatoon prior to moving to Edmonton, where she worked for the Canadian National Railway until her retirement. Jean met Brian, her husband of 46 years, in Edmonton and they married in Saskatoon. She loved to play the piano and the organ.
Jean had a cheerful, optimistic attitude about life and was forever young in spirit. She felt she could do anything and usually accomplished whatever she set out to do. Jean loved to travel and was always interested in her family and friends.
Jean was predeceased by her parents and her three siblings: Bill Reid, Helen Donlevy and Ernie Reid as well as her nephew, Reverend Father Paul Donlevy. Jean was always a loving and fond aunt to her many Donlevy and Reid nieces and nephews, all of whom are left with many happy memories of time spent with her.
According to her wishes, Jean was cremated. A Celebration of her Life and Mass will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, June 7, 2013 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 9830 � 148 Street, Edmonton.
