Obituary
On Wednesday, June 12, 2013, Derik Kirzinger of Edmonton passed away peacefully at home with his family and close friends by his side. His memory will be cherished by his wife Jan and their two children, Kayla and Logan; father and step mother Otto and Madeleine; sister Kia; nieces Kira, Kennedy and Cassidy; brother-in-law Gerry (Alice) and many dear friends. Derik was predeceased by his mother Kirsten and sister Kim. A Celebration of Life will take place at 1:30pm, Thursday, June 20, 2013 at Trinity United Church, 8810 Meadowlark Road NW, Edmonton. Gratitude is extended to the staff at the Cross Cancer Institute and the Palliative Homecare Team. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Derik�s name may be made to the Cross Cancer Institute, 11560-University Avenue, Edmonton T6G 1Z2, or The Mustard Seed, 10635-96 Street, Edmonton, AB T5H 2J4.
