Obituary
On August 25, 2013, the Lord called home into eternal glory our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, Alice de Haan, at the age of 84.
Alice was born in Waddinxveen, The Netherlands in 1929 and immigrated to Canada with her husband in 1953.
Alice will be dearly missed by her husband of 60 years, Sid; children, Frieda Maaskant, John (Brenda), Winni, Alda (Harry) Knibbe, Martin (Diana) and Sid (Vicki); 22 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brothers, Henk (Betty) and Aart; family and friends.
Heartfelt thank you to Dr. Zhu, Hematology Dept., U of A Hospital; 5A5 nurses at the Mazankowski Heart Institute and 9Y, Palliative Care, Edmonton General for all of their kindness, care and compassion.
A Service to celebrate Alice�s life will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at 1:00 p.m., at First Christian Reformed Church, 10956 - 96 Street, Edmonton.
