Obituary
On Saturday, June 21 John passed away peacefully.
He leaves to cherish his memory: sons, Kenneth (Hilda), David (Lynn) and Ian (Cathy); grandchildren, Scott, Colin (Trish), Vincent, Patrick, Sherri (Tim), Erin, Allyson and Katie; great-grandchildren, Ashley and Nolan; sister, Bunty Reid; brother, George Reid; sisters-in-law, Tony Kencke and Beth Ewell, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. John was predeceased by his wife Margaret "Poppy".
John served with the RCNVR during WWII and then the Edmonton City Police for 32 years, Badge #1.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 28th at 2:30 p.m. at Foster and McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011 � 114 Street, Edmonton.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Glenrose Rehabilitation Hospital.
