This reflects our desire to provide options that make sense to a growing number of families. The rental casket is designed to be a particularly practical option for families who are choosing cremation yet still want to have a period of visitation for family and close friends to provide closure. The Rental System provides this option at a greatly reduced cost compared to purchasing. Local crematorium by-laws require that the body still be placed in some form of combustible container that meets their minimum requirements. The transfer of the body into one of these minimal containers is included in the rental charge. A growing number of families are seeing this option as a more practical and affordable choice when it comes to funeral costs. This option is allowing many families who turned away from public visitation because of the costs, to have some form of public visitation. |
