It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Ben (Elia) Daneliuk. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Muriel; children, Murray (Susan), Don, and Bonnie; grandchildren, Shane Foster (Courtney), and Craig Daneliuk (Cynthia); two great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Ben was predeceased by three brothers, Bill (Marie), Carl (Phyllis), and Victor (Bev).

Ben was born near Shandro, Alberta. He worked in the oilfields from 1947 to 1997 as a driller, tool push, and later as a consultant. His job took him to Europe for three years.

Ben enjoyed his sports.

Following Ben’s wishes, no Memorial Service will be held.

The family would like to thank the staff at the U of A Hospital, Capital Care Norwood, and the Grey Nuns Hospital
