Betty Manzara née Cavanaugh, was born in Canmore, Alberta on July 10, 1934 and died peacefully in her sleep at CapitalCare Dickinsfield on August 2, 2021.
She is predeceased by her son, John; and her grandson, John Raymond.
She is survived by children, Cathy, Monica, Norma, Lisa and Greg as well as 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, her sister, Lorna; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Betty worked at many different jobs during her working career and retired from the Support Network in 1999. She was also an avid volunteer with the Winspear Centre and was a very active member in her church community at St. Charles Catholic Parish, Edmonton until 2015.
The family wishes to thank the many loving staff at the Dickinsfield. We cannot thank them enough for their tireless, compassionate care for our mother.

A Funeral Mass to celebrate Betty's life will be held at St. Charles Parish, 17511 - 112 Street, Edmonton, on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 1:00 p.m.
Attendees are encourage to bring a flower representing their connection to Betty to bring together a rainbow of colors.
