Gerrit Grootkarzyn

It is with sad hearts we announce the passing of our beloved husband, dad, and opa, Gerrit Grootkarzyn, at the age of 98 years. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Gesina, of 68 years.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children: Ron (Colette), Pat, and Cindy (Sheldon); his favourite grandchildren: Hayley (Chris), Alanna, and Jolene; as well as family in The Netherlands; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff of Unit 6Y at the Edmonton General Hospital, for their compassion while caring for dad.

A Private family Graveside Service was held at Little Mountain Cemetery, as he wished.
