Edna Gonzalez de Cuadra, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully at the Grey Nuns Community Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta. She was born in Cali, Colombia, to her parents, Sixto Tulio Gonzalez Avila and Ana Delfa Pineda.

Edna dedicated her life to her family and her profession. As an accomplished accountant, she brought precision and dedication to her work. Her warm smile and caring nature touched the lives of everyone she encountered.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Edna is survived by her devoted husband, Edgar Cuadra; her daughter, Sandra Carolina Cuadra Gonzalez; son-in-law, Andres Paez; and her beloved grandchildren, Alexander Paez Cuadra and Fabian Paez Cuadra. Her sister, Miryam Gonzalez; and brother, Orlando Gonzalez, also mourn her loss.

Edna was predeceased by her father, Sixto Tulio Gonzalez; her mother, Ana Delfa Pineda; and her son, Donny Cuadra Gonzalez.

Edna’s life was filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments. She adored her grandchildren, Alexander and Fabian, who brought immense joy to her days.

Edna touched countless lives, leaving an enduring legacy of compassion, kindness, and love. As we gather to celebrate her life, let us remember her sweet smile, her gentle voice, and the warmth she brought to our hearts.

The family invites friends and loved ones to join them in celebrating Edna’s life at a Funeral Service. Details will be provided at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Cross Cancer Institute or the Covenant Foundation, two of the institutions that helped Edna navigate the last year of her life.
