On June 20th, 2024, our heavenly Father took to himself our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Jennie, at the age of 82 years. She will be remembered with much love by her husband, Martin; her children, Curtis and Lorraine Hooimeyer, Cynthia and Jeff Kuntz, Bruce Hooimeyer, Maryke Hooimeyer, Errol and Melanie Hooimeyer, and Marcel and Michelle Hooimeyer; 20 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

She was a dear sister and sister-in-law of Art Lengkeek, Ben and Rhea Hofsink, Sonja and Peter VanBostelen, Harry Scholtens, John and Pat Hofsink, and Sophie and Yogi VanderLeest. She will especially be missed by her dear friend of many years, Doreen Harke. Jennie was predeceased by her parents, Jan Hendrik and Zwaantje Hofsink (Noppers); her siblings, Helga Jean Hofsink, Barry Hofsink, Betty Scholtens and Hanna Lengkeek; and her great-grandson, Atticus Tams. She was a favourite aunt to her many nieces and nephews and will be missed by many cherished friends.

A private family burial at Westlawn Memorial Gardens will take place on July 2nd, 2024, and a Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on July 2, 2024, at the St. Albert Canadian Reformed Church, 54203 RR 261. With Reverend K. Wieske officiating.
