It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mark the passing of Peggy Joan Parker of Edmonton on July 16, 2024, at the age of 93 years.

Peggy leaves to mourn her children, Jere Jo Parker, Peggy Mae (Peter) Fletcher, and Jack (Denise) Parker; and her grandchild, Nicole. She is also survived by nephews, Fred (Pam) Hicks, Steve Pease, and niece, Stacey Doyle, in the U.S.A.

Peggy was predeceased by her grandchild, Valerie. Also, her parents, Thomas and Opha Pease; her sister, Alva (Cotton) Anderson; her brothers, Thomas (Amelia), Douglas (Irene), and Don Pease. As well, her nephews, Stan Hicks, William Pease, Tommy Pease, Ed Anderson; and niece, Joan Anderson.

A Memorial Service will be held at Foster and McGarvey Downtown Chapel on August 3, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. The family invites guests to wear purple in honor of Peggy.

The family wishes to send much gratitude to the staff at Rutherford Heights Retirement Residence, particularly the DAL Unit and Recreation Department for their excellent care of Peggy during her almost 2 years there. As well, special thanks to the staff at St Joseph's palliative care unit for their care and compassion during her final months.
