Condolences
Dear Catherine and Winnie,
It was with sadness that I read the beautiful obituary of your husband and father recently and I wish to extend my sincerest condolences. I met Helmut very briefly some 45 or so years ago when my son, Bruce, and Chris went to Glenora School. Lou and I did meet him again, once, some years ago now, at a concert or some such event. It was then that we learned of Chris\' passing.
One day in the early 70s I saw some of his work and bought a beautiful winter landscape that I have to this day. My friend, Lynn Eyton, also bought one. Mine hangs in my guest room and my niece who lives in AU fell in love with it on one of her visits and I have promised that she will have it one day. He left a great legacy in his art and one which will be enjoyed many. Sincerely, Mary Hyndman
