Dear Gladys & family, We wish that we could be with you, but please know that you are in our thoughts & prayers. Whether Bill was yelling down the ice "sweep" or singing one of his favourite songs - The Auctioneer - we think of Bill - the performer and the consummate salesman, who no matter how difficult he could be at times, always managed to win your heart. Today is a celebration of his life - a time to share stories about 'Big Bad Bill'- to laugh & sometimes to cry. Know that we are with you in spirit as we also remember him.

To My Alberta Mom, Gladys and my Alberta Dad’s family, our sincere condolences. Please know that you are in our hearts and prayers during this difficult time. Both Carmen and I send copious amounts of virtual hugs and kisses your way from Toronto. It is hard to accept that this day has come. Gladys, both you and Bill have been an integral part of my life, almost from the very beginning – I believe I was 9 months old when we first met. Granted, I may not remember this initial meeting, however I do have many shared and happy memories with you both and I thank you for that. It is difficult to think of just one story to tell, there are so many. I would like to share a few life lessons that Bill taught me: 1. Live each day to the fullest 2. Work hard, play hard 3. Stand up for what you believe in 4. Always leave someone on a positive note 5. Believe in yourself and see the potential in others 6. Always give 100%, no one can ask for more 7. Always give, there is usually someone that is in a worse state than you 8. Know when to pick your battles and when to back down To my Superhero, I love you and miss you so very much. You will always be with me in spirit. Thank you for always believing in me. Our love is with you, Gladys and family. Christine (Rocchio) and Carmen Buonaiuto xoxoxoxo

Dearest Gladys, Joanne and Families: We are so sorry to hear of "Uncle Bill's" passing - we know he is in a better place now and we can think fondly of his memories. He was "quiet the Man - Big Bad Bill" - We enjoyed those Trail Rides that you put on out at the Farm and enjoyed your company, Gladys, most of all. Always remember that not even death can take away the memories of the good times that you all have enjoyed over the years. Some of those times may have been a little more difficult than others - but we still have them to reflect upon and ponder. He will be missed by all those who loved him dearly. Our thoughts will be with you on Monday - and you know if we were closer . . . we would be there to share HUG. So Hugs from Halifax will have do do for now. Take care.
