Condolences

I worked with "Chuck" in MO Edmonton from 1975 to 1978. It was a great experience to work with very good boss. He gave me lots of room to do my work. He was well liked by all clients and a booster of anything to do with Edmonton. His hospitality at the BMO MO Dining Room were legendary. His generation of Bank Managers ended in 1982. My sincere condolences to the family. Harry Boessenkool

We were saddened to learn of Chuck's passing and extend our sincere condolences to all his family. He lived a full and exciting life and leaves a rich heritage for his family. Our paths crossed frequently during our years with the Bank of Montreal . We will miss his phone calls following the wins and losses of the football and hockey games. Alison and Gene ROUSSET.

As the past Chairman of the Scottish Advisory Council. may I convey our sincere condolences on Chuck's passing. Although I did not know him personally, some of my group did meet him at Rabbie Burns events. But I would have loved to meet him. May you have wonderful memories. God bless. I am a Rabbie Burns Writer from Inverness and go to Alloway now and again, especially to the new Burns Museum. "A man's a man for a' that" -Robert Burns

I worked with Chuck in the 1970's at the old Jasper and 101st street branch and learnt a great deal from him as his business accumen and knowledge were second to none. A great man and a credit to the Bank of Montreal.

I had the pleasure of visiting Chuck on a number of occasions in my role with United Way. Chuck was very loyal supporter and was a member of the Red Feather Society at United Way, having supported the community for over 45 years. He was President of our Board of Directors in 1974 and fulfilled the role of Campaign Chair the following year with the passing of Merrill Wolfe. I enjoyed our visits as he loved to tell stories and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to them. He was always proud to attend our Red Feather events. There is no way to lessen the sorrow of losing a loved one, but please remember others care very much and wish you strength and comfort at this sad time. - Gene Bourassa, United Way Alberta Capital Region
