Condolences

I'm blessed to have known Sue as a mentor, interpreter, realtor, and friend. She was an amazing woman, fabulous interpreter, and inspirational friend. She will be sadly missed, but joyously remembered. Prayers for healing, strength and joy in remembering Sue. Blessings to you all.

I didn't work with her however we did walk to the parkade at Nait Main Campus a few times and she was a lovely lady. I was so shocked to here of her passing. She never looked sick or let on that she was.It was my pleasure to know her as little as I did and she will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the family and friends that are let behind. The flags at Nait are at half mast to mark her passing. sincerely Cheri

Sue will be greatly missed. I had the pleasure of working with her at NAIT some years ago through NAIT SSD services. She was truly amazing with the students and a really wonderful person.

Sue was an amazing interpreter mentor. She taught me grace under pressure and always modelled professionalism. She knew when to laugh and when to be true to the assignment. Traits I have retained through my various careers. Thank you for sharing her with us. Rhonda Webster

Sue was a long time interpreter and advocate working within the Deaf community. We usually had our rendezvous at AVLIC( national interpreting conferences) and catch up on all the stories. Her and I both shared our fondness for our Deaf parents(coda's) and the love of the community we were raised in. Sue's passing is an incredible loss to our community and to the future interpreters who will not have the oppportunity to learn from such a mentor. My condolensces to her family.

I was fortunate to see the development of Sue as she was attending GMCC ITP and came to know her parents, John and Annie Kusznieryk. Guess we lose one of the giants in Canadian Interpreting community. Hope her past commitments & professionalism has rubbed off to younger generation of interpreters. Rest In Peace...Vincent (Bah) Chauvet
