Condolences
Wayne and family I did not realize until today when reading the Alberta RN magazine that Jeanette had passed away. Jeanette was one of my instructors at the university when I completed my post RN studies. She was such an exceptional person, very gifted and talented. It was an honor to learn from her. I did not know Jeanette but was awestruck by her credentials and her wonderful
passion for nursing and educating others. She certainly was highly respected and a most gracious person and had a wonderful career. Jeanette was a rare
individual by the life story told in her obituary. I did not know her, or her family,
but I saw that she has relatives with my last name and I would appreciate hearing
from any of the Rapaich group to see if we are related in any way.

Mrs. Florence made a lasting impression on me when I did my nurse's training at the Royal Alex (Class of '74). Her reputation was for being 'tough'. That meant she had very high expectations for her students. The same high standards she held herself to. When you had her for your rotation you just wanted to meet her expectations. She stood out amongst the many instructors. Mrs. Florence was my favorite. The nursing profession has lost a woman of amazing knowledge, integrity and professionalism. My deepest sympathies to the family for the loss of a wife, mother, grandmother.

Dear Wayne and Family,
It with great sadness to learn of Jeanette's passing. She fought a courageous battle and had the support of her friends and family. We will think of her wonderful spirit and the many good memories we experienced with her during her school life at King Ed and UBC. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

Wayne, and Family- we were so saddened to hear of Jeanette's passing. She was such a wise, compassionate person and she will be greatly missed. We will always remember Jeanette's great smile, warmth and dedication to her profession. It was a privilege to have known her. Our sincere condolences.

Michella, We are so sorry to hear of your Mother's passing. We are hoping that you are taking comfort in the lovely and amazing tribute posted in the Edmonton newspaper. She certainly led an amazing life and obviously touched the lives of so many people over the years. Katy, Brooke and family,
We're thinking of you now and wishing you strength. What a beautiful picture of your mom! You and Brooke look a lot like her, I'm sure she was as amazing as you two are :) I know words fall short in these circumstances but we just wanted you to know we're here if you need anything and are thinking of you.
