John,
I remember very well running into your parents occasionally when they went for their daily walks around our subdivision and elsewhere. Your dad often carrying a stick and both of your parents walking at a pace much too fast for me to keep up to. They always had a friendly hello for me (and everyone else).
Diane and I are very sorry for your loss.
