Condolences

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I remember well the kindness of the visit that you and Derek made to me the day I lost my beloved Gil and wish I could be with you now to support you in your grief. I hope the blessings of a long marriage will help sustain you through the days and weeks ahead.

I am so sorry to read of the passing of Derek. You had a long marriage. His early life sounds adventurous and patriotic. Followed by a fulfiling life of commerce and public service. It is likely 45 years since we have been in touch. I was always so amazing at your commitment to complete a Commerce degree while raising five children! And, I truly did not appreciate this achievement until one raises their own family. I have spent much time in Victoria with family and friends. Perhaps we could get-together when I visits in the future. Thinking of you. Arlene Pardee

I love the photo you picked. It just reminds me so much of your Uncle Derek over the years - that quiet grin never changed. I'm so sorry that he is gone but glad that you can all be there together. I know you will take strength from each other and there will be laughter between the tears. We're thinking of all of you and send our love. Terri & Ted

Our masonic brother will be missed and at our regular meeting on Wednesday March 6th 2013, we will have a minute of silence to honor his memory at his passing to the Great Lodge above. Going forward, please let us know if there is anything needed now or at any time in the future. Most sincerely and fraternally. Bro. John Mejias - Worshipful Master Balmoral Lodge #185
