Dear Sonda, Megan, Charis, & Samuel, words seems so empty at a time like this but wanted you each to know that many thoughts and prayers are with you today as you grieve the loss of your husband and your Dad. Victor was a man who showed his compassion and love of people in a very unique way. I so appreciate what he brought to my life. He always challenged me to think outside the religious box that so often we get caught up in. So many times he challenged my mind concerning my perception of God. How extremely frustrating at the time but oh what a knowledge and peace it brought to my life. Thank you Victor for being who God created you to be. I will always remember tag team preaching with you and how it brought knowledge of who God really is. May your hearts today be filled with the very Peace, Love & Grace of God.

Thinking about all of you today on this very tough day. I know You are all firm believers and I pray this doesn't shake your faith. Victor will be dearly missed by anyone that Even had a chance to ever speak to him. You couldn't resist his charm and cheer. I hope you guys can cherish his memory today and share some good laughs as I know he will be rejoicing now to hear your laughter. Laugh for Victor and I pray for your courage and strength. God Bless the entire family. Love Meg, Traynter and Jessi

I know saying how sorry I am for the loss you are feeling will not even come close to making up for your pain. But I know that he loved you all so very much, you were his life, all of you. And I truly believe that he walked closely to God, and I hold onto that hope so that we may all see him again one day. Find comfort in God, and in each other and never doubt his love for you all.

I am so sad to hear the news of Victor passing away. I went to school with Victor at NSCC; we were in the Business Admin Program. He was always so full of energy and life, quick to help someone or make them laugh. Victor was one of the most lively people I've ever met. I will always remember him fondly, and I know he is deeply missed by all who knew him.

Sonda, It is hard to find the right words to describe how we are feeling for you right now. You and your family are in our thoughts. We pray that God will give you all the strength that you need in this difficult time.

Sonda and family - I am so sorry for your loss. I too didn't know Victor personally but from everything Sonda told me during our conversations about family life, he was a truly wonderful and exceptionally loving and devoted husband, father and friend. The world is the lesser for having lost him but also the greater for having had him, if only for all too short a time.

Hugs from Nova Scotia. Sonda it has been many years since we were part of the WVDA crew but I will never forget how both you and Victor were able to light up a room with just your presence. It is amazing how you can not be in contact with someone for years but you can still feel their kindness and impact they had on your life. It was with great sadness I learned yesterday that Victor has moved on to spread his knowledge, friendship, thoughfulness, patience and love of life, in a new community. It was with great happiness I thought how honoured I was to have known him. His roaring laughter (sometimes I refered to it as a cackle), his gentleness combined with friendly harassment, his passion for life and fun was a great gift he shared with anyone who knew him. My heart is with you and the kids. Wish I was closer but please know so many are with you in thought and prayer. xo

So sorry to hear of Victors passing. Was shocked when I read Brants post on Facebook. Have fond memories of Victor running from his house to the store as a young boy and chatting on the school bus. He always had a twinkle in his eye and a quick wit. No matter what he was doing he would say hi and possibly have something to torment a person about. I was also a babysitter of Brant, Kelly & Craig who also have the torment gene. Victor was 'quite the lad', he surely is tormenting his friends & family in heaven now.

I am so sorry for your loss. Although I never knew Victor personally, I know the wonderful man he was through his beautiful wife, Sonda. Sonda and Victor were truly best friends, and Sonda could not talk about him with out a BIG smile on her face. I always loved to hear about their latest adventure with their family. My deepest condolences to Sonda, their children, and their extended family. May your wonderful memories of him keep him in your heart always.
