Obituary
Ben passed away peacefully to be with his Lord on February 5, 2015.
Ben was a loving husband and caring father. He was passionate about farming and making others laugh. Ben�s greatest pleasure was spending time with his wife Anita whom he loved deeply.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Neets, his children, Patricia (James), Darcy, Jeremy, Bradley (Christine), Sharron, Shannon (Bradley), Gordon (Shannon), and his grandchildren, Anthony (Jocelyn), Teigan, Kathleine, Dawson, Shae, Avi and Jessica. Ben was predeceased by his niece Helen VanderKooi. We will always remember his contagious smile, caring heart and great laugh.
Visitation will take place from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 9, 2015 at Foster & McGarvey Funeral Home 10011 - 114 Street, Edmonton. A service Celebrating Ben�s Life will be held on Tuesday, February 10, 2015, 12:30 p.m. at Inglewood Christian Reformed Church 12330 - 113 Avenue, Edmonton.
Donations in memory of Ben can be made to the Edmonton General Hospital, Unit 9Y, 11111 Jasper Avenue, Edmonton. Heartfelt thanks goes to Doctors K. Ghali, F. Armstrong, S. Koski, R. Sultanian and the wonderful staff at the Palliative Care Unit at the General Hospital.
