Obituary
It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the death of James Douglas Boyd, who died suddenly on February 13, 2015 in Edmonton, Alberta.
He will be loved and missed forever by Nancy, his lovely wife of 30 years; his children: Michelle and Gregory; mother, Katherine Cresswell; and siblings: Sandra, Linda, Randy and Karen; sister-in-law, Janet. �J.B.� was the beloved uncle of Keith, Kyle, Brendan, Taylor, Bryan, Connor and Stuart.
He was pre-deceased by his father Keith and brother, Ron.
During his 30-year career with the Ministry of Child and Family Services, Jim, who was a patient and nurturing man, counseled countless families with his wisdom and authenticity. Jim loved his family, his backyard and sports. Cooking was his passion; music was his oxygen.

A viewing will be held from 6-8:00 p.m., Friday, February 20, 2015 at Foster McGarvey St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert, Alberta. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 21, 2015 at St. Albert Catholic Parish, 7 St. Vital Avenue, St. Albert, Alberta.
