Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Rudy (Ruurd) Abma at the age of 72.
Rudy will be sadly missed by his wife of 19 years, Dianne Lenz; children, Anita (Jamie) Konken, Heather Ebbers, Richard (Kristin) Abma, Blaine (April) Lenz, Jeanette Lenz, and David Lenz; mother, Anna Abma; eight siblings; Dianne�s four siblings; 10 grandchildren; extended family and friends.
Rudy was predeceased by his father, Fred Abma; sister, Tryntje Abma.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Foster and McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street, Edmonton.
A Memorial Service will take place at Westlawn Memorial Gardens, 10132-163 Street, Edmonton on Friday, February 27, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Alberta, 10985-124 Street, Edmonton, AB, T5M 0H9.
