Obituary
Although his light is extinguished, the glow of his memory burns bright in our minds. Our dear father and friend Hollis, passed quietly in his sleep on April 5, 2016 at the age of 95 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Joanne Johnston, Susan (Terry) Thorburn and Scott (Lynne); 6 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous family and friends.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at Foster & McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street NW, Edmonton. Interment to follow at Edmonton Cemetery, 11820-107 Avenue NW.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the University of Alberta Hospital Foundation or a Charity of Choice.
