Obituary
We sadly announce the passing of Violet on November 6, 2016 at the age of 89 years.
Her loving spirit will carry on through her daughters, Leslie (David) Morris and Alyson (Harold) Kunas; her grandchildren, Marshall, David, Sarah (Nick), Evan, Duncan (Laurel), Laura; and proudly her two great-grandchildren, Daxton and Lexie. She is survived by her dear sisters, June, Sonja, Doreen; and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Bertland; son Randall; parents, Albert and Astrid; and her brother Erling.
Violet was a pioneer and honorary member of VOA Skandia Lodge No. 549 and will be missed by her Vasa family.
A Celebration of Life will take place at Vasa Park, Pigeon Lake next summer.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Stollery Children's Hospital are appreciated.
