Obituary
Shirley May Mitchell, much loved wife of Walter Mitchell, passed peacefully into the presence of her Lord on December 29, 2016 at the Royal Alex Hospital.
Shirley was born in Brandon, Manitoba on January 9, 1934, the youngest child of Frank and Margaret Roberts.
In addition to her husband Walter, Shirley will be greatly missed by her sister Anna; Walter�s family in England; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Shirley was predeceased by her parents; sisters, Francis, Florence, Dorothy; and brother Jack.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Foster and McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street NW, Edmonton.
In keeping with Shirley�s wishes, donations to an organization supporting the less fortunate would be greatly appreciated.
