Obituary
Ken (Koen) Karsten of Edmonton, Alberta passed away late Sunday evening January 8th, 2017 at the age of 85. He was a kind and generous man with a big heart who walked his Faith.
He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Theresa; son, Ron (Madeline); daughter, Brenda (Wayne); 8 grandchildren; and (so far) 14 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers John and Pete, and sisters Grace, Ann, and Hillary.
Ken was predeceased by his son, Ken, and brothers John, Ralph, and Ted.
A Visitation will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, January 13, 2017 at Foster and McGarvey Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street NW, Edmonton. Ken will be buried on Saturday, January 14th, 2017 at Westlawn Cemetery, 16310 Stony Plain Road, at 10:30 a.m. followed by a 1:00 p.m. Memorial Service at Covenant Christian Reformed Church, 19010-87 Avenue, Edmonton.
