On December 17, Ken peacefully passed away, not long after his family said goodbye. He is mourned by his loving wife, Florence, of sixty-three years; daughter, Nancy (Jeff) Curry, and son, Keith. He will be fondly remembered by granddaughters, Kim and Jennifer Curry, and Kristen and Michelle Millions. He was predeceased by his father, A.O. Millions; mother, Vera and sister, Betty Baldwin.

Ken was educated in Edmonton and attained a M.Sc. in civil engineering. In addition to his work in the civil service, he spent two years with the RCAF, part of which was spent in Grostenquin, France. He also worked with the federal government when the Trans-Canada Highway was built, serving as materials testing engineer in Banff, Alberta. Ken also spent 5 years in Winnipeg, where he worked with the government of Manitoba during the construction of Winnipeg's floodway. He retired in 1985 from a long career with Alberta Transportation. In retirement, Ken and Florence enjoyed travel, gardening, and researching the Millions family history.
