Obituary
Don passed away at home with his immediate family and close friends after a lengthy struggle with cancer. He is survived by his wife, Christina (Retterath); sons, Simon, Stephan and Trevor, and siblings Allen, Jean and Laura. Don was born and raised in Toronto and attended Lakefield College School, University of Western Ontario and Ryerson College. In 1977, Don and his new wife moved to Edmonton where they raised their three sons, pursued individual careers and were actively involved in local community and sports organizations. He leaves behind a large extended family and many friends.
A Celebration of his Life will be held on Sunday December 9, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Edmonton Bridge Club at 11810 Kingsway Avenue in Edmonton.
