Obituary
Christina Philippides passed away peacefully with her daughters by her side at the age of 75 years.
Christina will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Joanna (Tony) Padovan and Rena (Dean) Kallas; grandchildren, Sophia and Nikos; siblings, Nikos, Polixeni and Peter (Nellie); numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband, George; parents Vasilios and Sophia Nathanail and her brothers, Haralambos and Athanasios.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at the Grey Nuns Hospital, Unit 43, Palliative Care Unit.
A Trisagion Service will take place on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at St. George's Greek Orthodox Church, 10831 - 124 Street, Edmonton.
A Funeral Service will be held at the same location on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Andrew Allain officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Memorial Gardens, 10132 - 163 Street, Edmonton.
Memorial donations in memory of Christina may be made to St. George�s Greek Orthodox Church.
