Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Vernon Wishart announces his gentle passing on Saturday, May 4, 2019. He was predeceased by his parents, Roy and Aulta Wishart. Vernon is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Johanna �Jo�; children: James, Beth (Ian), Mark (Barb), Karen, and Stephen (Claudine); eight-grandchildren: Matthew (Zo�), Heather (Justin), Aaron, Daniel (Kelsey), Brianne (Tyler), Zo�, Charlotte, and Faith; two great-grandchildren, Grace and Jaycen; brother Bill (Pat); sister, Shirley; nephews, David (Debby), and Ian (Cathy); niece Sandy (Wayne); great- nieces, Elizabeth and Jenny; great-nephew Noah.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 p.m., Friday, May 10, 2019, St. Paul�s United Church, 11526 - 76 Avenue, Edmonton, AB.

Vernon worked faithfully and tirelessly for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, as a minister in the United Church of Canada for over 60 years. He brought a rich tradition of storytelling to family, friends and the community.

The family is very thankful for the great care and assistance he received while residing at Rosedale Manor. We are also very grateful for the kind and tender care given to Vernon by the staff of 7C at the Edmonton General Continuing Care Centre.
