Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Oma and great Oma, Anna Maria Boender on September 15, 2020 of Edmonton at the age of 94.
She is survived by eight children, Edward (Grace), Randy (Betty), Rita (Alfred), William (Denise), Debby, Mary (Rick), Theresa, Shawna (Steven); 24 grandchildren, Janna, Erin, Tim, Ayleen, Danielle, Daylon, Robert, Michael, Crystal, Lisa, Marc, Sarah, Emily, Kyle, Colin, Graeme, Cameron, Alexandra, Rebecca, Samantha, Hope, Jade, Tristian, Trinity and 30 great-grandchildren, numerous foster children, special nieces and nephews and grand-in-laws.
Anna was predeceased by the love of her life William of 63 years her parents, 3 brothers and 2 great-grandsons.
Anna had a great love for God and his grace in her life, her family, the garden and all her children. She loved a cup of tea in the morning, coffee at 10 and a hot bowl of soup. She faced adversity through war, the great depression, death, immigration, and failing health. She worked hard, helped others and trusted God. Anna was example of courage and commitment.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday September 23rd 2020 at Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church, 49245 Rge Rd 250, Leduc, Alberta.
