Obituary
On Thursday, March 25, Edmond Henri Casavant passed away at the age of 80 years. Eddie will be remembered by his loving wife, Rosemarie; children: David (Karen), Lisa (Lawrence, deceased), Gloria (Barry); grandchildren: Brody, Lucas, Deanne, Edmond, Kallin, Sydney; great-grandchildren: Adèlie, Élise; siblings: Rachel, Méclea (Astrid), Maxime (Russel); nieces and nephews: Irene (John), Louis (Angèle) and daughters Dominique and José, Nicole (Shawn) and son Sam, André (Christine) and daughter Genny; and grand-nieces and nephews: Cathryn, Carolyn and Andrew.
He was predeceased by his parents, Louis and Marie Reine; siblings; Gaitane (Gilbert), Liza and Leopold; brother-in-law, Luciene; nephew, Paul; Rosemarie’s parents, Lee and Archie Demers and three brothers-in-law; numerous other family members. Ed will be remembered by Rosemarie’s six siblings and their spouses as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. It will be livestreamed on the St. John the Evangelist Church Facebook page for those who cannot attend in person.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Edmond’s name to the Gianna Centre 9040-95 Avenue, Edmonton AB T6C 1Z3.
