Obituary
On July 14, 2021, our mother, Gwen Stevens passed away peacefully at the age of 100, surrounded by her family. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters: Jacquie (Ray) Ness, Wendy Ferguson, Lynne Dean (Harris) Gibeau, Joanne (Bill) Freeland; her many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Gwen was predeceased by her husband, Donald; son, Clarke and grandson, Matthew.
The night before she passed away she expressed how thankful she was for all the love and kindness shown to her by so many and a special thank you to Wendy.
Our mother was an independent, feisty woman with a great sense of humour who loved and cared for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. We will miss her!
As per her request, no service will be held. The family will gather for a celebration of her life at a later date.
Donations in memory of Gwen may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
