Obituary

On November 25, 2021, Carey Dean Bright of Edmonton passed away at the age of 64 years. He is survived by his loving mother Shirley, missed dearly by his sister Lori-Lea, brother-in-law Jack, and brother Billy-Jo. The prides of his life were his niece and nephew Kristin and Craig. Carey was predeceased by his father Bill, grandparents Alma and Wally Poepping, Flora and William Bright.

Carey has always had a passion for sports. He played volleyball, basketball, baseball, hockey, and football. He really enjoyed his time coaching young children play hockey. You could ask him anything to do with sports and he would tell you the stats like a walking encyclopedia. He loved the EE and the Oilers and was one of the first proud season ticket holders when they first opened the coliseum. We know you will always keep on cheering.

A private service will be held at a later date.

If desired, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Fund (https://www.heartandstroke.ca/) or The Mental Health Foundation (https://mentalhealthfoundation.ca/).

In Loving Memory of
Carey Bright
