Obituary
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our father, Stan Elechko on the evening of January 2, 2022.
Stan was predeceased by his loving wife, Fran (May 16, 2011); his parents, Steve and Annie; brothers, Mike and Bill; sister, Connie and son in law, Donnie Manchakowski.
Stan is survived by his children, Mona Manchakowski, Stephen and Anna-Marie (John); grandchildren, Kristin (Adam), Michael (Jiyun), Amanda (Ryan), Aimee, Spencer (Devon), and Jesse; great grandchildren, Desmond, Henry, Jacob and Mackenzie, Brooke and baby Heath Stanley.
Those who knew Stan will remember his quiet gentle nature, kindness, sense of humour and his interest in anything industrial as he was a man who knew the value of hard work. Stan loved Vegas, Mexico and the casino but was truly happiest at the cottage at Island Lake surrounded by family and friends. He will be sorely missed.
The family would like to thank the nurses and Dr. Bennett at the Sturgeon
Hospital for their kindness, respect and support.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
