Jennifer Selinger
1984 ~ 2022
It is with unbearable sadness and shattered hearts that we mourn the loss of Jennifer Maria Elizabeth Selinger (nee Marszalski). She was unexpectedly taken from us on February 1st, 2022 at the young age of 37.
Jennifer will be forever remembered by her loving husband of 11 years, Alec, son, Leighton and daughter, Whitley; parents, Rick & Sherry Marszalski, siblings,
Connie (Trevor), Michelle (Greg), Michael (Kaela); nieces, Payten, Addison, Irelyn & Tatum; nephews, Ethan, Taylor, Joshua, Lucas, Wyatt, Austin, Blake & Declan; grandparents, Mary Dolinski & Betty Morrell; aunt Cindy, uncle Norman; in-laws, Joan & Bernie Selinger; brother-in-law, Mark (Halee) and many cousins, great aunts, great uncles as well as many friends who are considered family.
Jennifer was born in Chatham, Ontario and raised in the small town of Valemount, BC where she graduated from Valemount Secondary School with honours and made many lifelong friends. Jennifer moved to Edmonton, AB where she graduated with a degree in Sociology from the University of Alberta. She married the love of her life, went on to have her beautiful children and later moved to St. Albert, AB. For the last 15 years, she has worked for the Government of Alberta.
Jennifer spent her life making everyone she crossed paths with feel special. She was always giving back. Jennifer was heavily involved with many community groups and clubs.
Jennifer will be missed for her incredibly kind heart, witty banter, contagious positive personality and her passionate affair with life.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday March 5th, 2022, at Foster and McGarvey St. Albert Funeral Home, 9 Muir Drive, St. Albert.
